Angelo Vailati was born in 1977 in Treviglio in the Bergamo area. Interested in guitar making since he was a child, he enrolled in 2001 at the "Civica Scuola di Liuteria di Milano". He is also one of those young Italian luthiers trained by Enrico Botelli (2005). He discovers his taste for historical Spanish guitar makers : Torres, Manuel Ramirez, Santos Hernández, Esteso... One 2006 he follows a course of Romanillos. In 2008 he goes to Granada in the workshop of Daniele Chiesa. Today his workshop is in Bologna.
The aesthetics of this guitar is superb and the lutherie work is of good workmanship, elegant and refined taste. Soundwise, it is a powerful and homogeneous instrument. The basses are deep, the trebles are clear, dense, the notes are warm and colourful with a great vibrating and harmonic richness. An instrument with a strong musical presence, lively and expressive, offering the guitarist a wide range of sounds.
