Antonio Duran was born in Granada in 1940. He learned lutherie with Eduardo Ferrer. In 1958, he opened his own workshop. His son, Eduardo Duran Ferrer, keeps up this family tradition.
This guitar is in the purest Granada style, the basses are deep and percusive, the trebles are clear and colourful. It is a comfortable, flexible, responsive and vibrant instrument, with the richness of timbre characteristic of Andalusian flamenca blanca.
