Gabriel Coppola was born in 1984 in Buenos Aires. He built his first guitar under the guidance of Ismael Santander and later with the luthier Ramón Rodríguez, with whom he learned the old traditional construction techniques. For years he worked on the repair and restoration of classical guitars. His classical guitar teacher, Damian Ratto, encouraged him to start building instruments.
This beautiful guitar is a personal interpretation of a Santos Hernández model. The aesthetic is beautifully executed and the craftsmanship well done. Soundwise, the notes are clear, vibrant and rich in harmonics. The timbre is warm, woody and expressive, recalling that of early instruments.
