A gorgeous romantic guitar by Dubois (probably Jean Nicolas Dubois), a family of luthiers established in Mirecourt since the 18th century. Mother-of-pearl decorations give it a breathtaking appearance. This instrument, built around the 1840s, isn't just appreciated for its aesthetics: it's also well tuned and perfectly playable, with a powerful sound characteristic of romantic guitars of the period.
