Enrico Bottelli was born in Milan in 1961. He began to learn guitar making in 1981 with the Milanese master luthier Carlo Raspagni (pupil of Pietro Gallinotti). Bottelli began building his own classical guitars in 1988. The quality of his lutherie work, his instruments' aesthetic standard and beauty of sound have earned him an international reputation. He has just been awarded the 2020 lutherie prize by the "Convegno Internazionale di chitarra di Milano".
The guitar presented here was built in 2012. The work of lutherie is incredible of finesse, precision and beauty. The sound is powerful, balanced and responsive, the notes are full, round and singing, the tone is deep and expressive, the polyphonic discourse is clear and of a magnificent musicality.
