Fernando Moreno is a Spanish luthier based in Seville. He began playing the guitar as a teenager. In 2000, he and Valeriano Bernal opened a guitar store in Granada. His meeting with Granada luthier Antonio Ariza turned him towards lutherie. He spent two years training with Víctor Díaz (son of Francisco Manuel Díaz). In 2007, Fernando Moreno set up his workshop in the Alcalá de Guadaíra village of Seville.
The guitar presented here is made of spruce and Indian rosewood. The aesthetics are successful and the lutherie work is well done. Soundwise, we find the strong character of Andalusian guitars. Notes are clear, vibrant and rich in harmonics. The timbre is warm, expressiv and woody. A beautiful, endearing instrument that's a pleasure to play, and we invite you to come and discover it.
