Hanika, established in Baiersdorf since 1953, is renowned for the quality of its instruments. The luthier Armin Hanika took over the company from his father in 1993. This new model « HE Torres » is in the "Professional Line", it combines traditional construction methods with modern techniques. The level of construction and the finitions are of excellent craftsmanship as shown by the choice of Alessi's tuners. The woods are of the best choice: Spruce for the top, beautiful Ziricote for the back and sides, three-layer head veneer (rosewood, maple, macassar). The same performances can be found in the sound qualities, with an excellent dynamique, a powerful, reactive response and good sustain. Notes are clear and flexible, and polyphony is precise, with distinct, well-separated voices.
