Hiroshi Komori was one of the first luthiers to collaborate with Masaru Kohno. Komori later opened his own workshop and became one of Japan's most renowned luthiers. This beautiful guitar, built in 1997, is numbered 30 (similar to Kohno guitars), placing it at the upper range of this luthier's guitars. The aesthetics, the quality of the woods and the finesse of the luthier's craftsmanship demonstrate his know-how and experience. Soundwise, this is a reactive, homogeneous instrument. Notes are clear, vibrant and rich in harmonics. The timbre is woody and expressive. Its musicality, reactivity, slim neck and low setting make it an endearing and pleasant instrument to play.
