Hugo Robles is an Argentine luthier based in Buenos Aires. The craftsmanship is perfectly done. The woods used are superb and original with the top in Sitka spruce and the back and sides in guayubira, a wood found in the north of Argentina and in Paraguay. Its small size and its easy playability make it a pleasant and endearing instrument. The sound qualities reflect the know-how of the porteño luthier and his knowledge of old guitars: the notes are clear, vibrant, the bass is deep, with a lyrical and expressive tone and musicality.
