José Marin Plazuelo was born in Granada in 1960. He is the nephew and apprentice of Antonio Marín Montero. He began his apprenticeship with his uncle when he was just 14, and soon afterwards began building his own guitars. The finesse of his craftsmanship and the sound performance of his guitars soon proved their skill, earning him a worldwide reputation among both amateur and professional guitarists.
