José Miguel Vega was born in Ecija on1961. After a career as an architect, he started building guitars in 2009. He follows the courses of Rafael López Porras in Cadiz and opens his workshop in Seville. His guitars, like the one shown here, are built in the Andalusian tradition and faithful to the Torres model.
It is a powerful and responsive instrument, vibrating because of its lightness and the fineness of the woods. The notes are clear, flexible, well timbreed and very expressive.
