Juan Hernández was born in Turís in the province of Valencia in 1948. He started at the age of 15 as an apprentice in the Esteve guitar workshop, where he was trained and acquired a solid know-how over many years. Today, he works with his son Alberto Hernández and other craftsmen. Thanks to the quality of his work his company has acquired a very good reputation internationally.
This is the "Maestro" model, built in solid wood with a wooden lattice brace. The aesthetics and finishes are well done. The woods are of the best choice as the cocobolo of the sides and the back. On the sound level, the lattice construction gives it a great power while preserving a woody tone. The notes are dense, clear, vibrant and rich in harmonics with an expressive tone. A beautiful instrument, powerful and pleasant to play.
