Manuel Bellido was born in Granada in 1939. He started working as a cabinetmaker at the age of 13. At the age of 16, he entered Eduardo Ferrer's Casa as an apprentice guitar maker and spent the next four years there. In 1960, he opened his own workshop, which he shared for several years with Antonio Marín Montero, together they formed several of the greatest luthiers in Granada.
This beautiful guitar with Amazonian rosewood back and sides was built in 2003. The aesthetics is superb and the craftsmanship perfectly done. The sound is powerful, the bass is deep, the notes are vibrant, singing and expressive. An instrument of great quality, reflecting the reputation of this great name in Granada lutherie.
