In 1960, he went to Spain to continue learning his trade in the Spanish tradition, and worked for six months in the workshop of Arcángel Fernández. In 1967, he won the gold medal (for sound) at the Liege competition against luthiers like Friederich (Bouchet and Rodrigo were on the jury). He died in 1998. Many great guitar names have played on his guitars.
This guitar was built in the first part of its career in 1962. The notes are silky and vibrant. The tone is smooth and lyrical. The remarkable sound performance is in line with the international renown of this prestigious Japanese luthier. A beautiful and rare instrument representing a great historical value, but also pleasant and endearing to play.
