Roy Fankhänel is a German luthier based in Oelsnitz, Saxony. From an early age, his passion for wood and trees naturally led him to lutherie. Over the years, he acquired a high level of expertise, as shown by this instrument: the rosette motifs, the craftsmanship, the head (inspired by Torres) with its V- shaped joint, etc. demonstrate all the qualities of this luthier.
The sound is powerful, strong and homogeneous. Notes are clear, colorful and flexible. The timbre is woody and expressive, offering clear, precise polyphony. The 64 cm scale and low setting make playing easy and pleasant, without losing any of the instrument's sound power. Similarly, the slightly elevated fingerboard (with a light radius) and the 12th fret located on the outside of the body make access to the treble easier. His guitars are powerful instruments with a generous, rich sound. A fine concert guitar that we invite you to try out to discover the talent of this young German luthier.
