Tobias Braun was born in 1960 in Holzminden - Germany, the following year his parents moved to Vienna - Austria. He studied German literature and journalism. In 1983, he built his first guitar on his own. The following year he began a long period of apprenticeships with José Romanillos. In 1990, he contributed to the German translation of Romanillos' book "Antonio de Torres". GuitarMaker - His Life and Work".
This beautiful guitar is a copy of a 1889 Vicente Arias. As always, the work of lutherie is perfectly realized. Although small in size (faithful to the original) it is a powerful and responsive guitar. The basses are round and deep, the trebles are clear and vibrant, the woody tone reproduces the charm of old instruments. A beautiful instrument built by a faithful luthier and concerned to perpetuate this great Spanish tradition in what it could provide of more beautiful.
